We are looking for special people to become part of our Ramah Day Camp family. Our staff must love children, be energetic, enthusiastic, intelligent, warm, kind, talented and love being Jewish. A Bit About Our Camp... We are situated in Rockland County, NY and our beautiful facility provides daycamp for children ages 5 to 13, five days per week, from 9AM-4PM.
The majority of our staff reside at camp for the entire eight week session. Staffquarters are comfortable and three kosher meals per day are provided.
Programming for staff is designed to be meaningful, educational, recreationaland entertaining. At Ramah, you're not just there to work. Your own growth andwell-being are of prime importance to us and we want to be certain that the summerexperience is resoundingly positive for you.
You and the rest of our staff chevra will be given opportunities to learn withrenowned faculty from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, to travel totheaters and sporting events, to take part in workshops planned just for youincluding sport leagues, crafts, Red Cross lifesaving and more. We also havestaff choral and dance groups which brighten the summer for all of us. And, we'realways looking for new ideas to fill the needs of our staff so we'll respondto your suggestions.
Our resident staff must be entering their senior year of high school or older,have a good solid Jewish education and love all things Jewish.
Students entering grades 10 and 11 **A special program for students entering their sophomore and junior years ofhigh school: This is a unique way to join Ramah, gain valuable camp experienceand be on the inside track for next summer.
