You'll arrive in Nyack by 9:10AM, where you'll be greeted with a smile and a friendly boker tov (good morning)!

Your day will begin with joyous Israeli dancing together with the entire camp, tefillot (prayers) with your edah, and time to unpack!

Then, you're off to a fun-filled day jam-packed with great activities. Each day has seven periods, each approximately 35-40 minutes long. A typical day might look like this:

Period 1 Instructional swim (following the American Red Cross Program)
Period 2 Activity/Sports period:
Period 3 Lunch
Period 4 Shiur (informal education period)
Period 5 Free swim
Period 6 Activity/Sports period
Period 7 Activity/Sports period
Bechira period- Electives* for grades three and up! There is so much to chose from... more sports, fine and performing art programs, chess, team building and more!
By 3:30 in the afternoon, it will be time to pack up, have a snack and say shalom and v'l'hitraot! Your bus or carpool will leave Nyack at 4 p.m.
We can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Lunch
Lunchtime is a special and exuberant time. We pride ourselves in serving kosher, well-balanced, delicious meals.

Sample Menu
Monday - Grilled cheese, salad, chips and fruit
Tuesday - Fish sticks, corn, salad, and pudding
Wednesday - Barbeque (usually held once or twice a session) with vegetarian options
Thursday - Pizza, salad and dessert
Friday - Food Court

No matter what you're in the mood for, you'll always find something to eat.

Every day, you can also select from the following foods: tuna, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, sliced American cheese, plain pasta, ketchup, bread, soy butter and jelly.

Please note that Ramah is a peanut-free camp. Our medical staff and kitchen staff will work closely with you to make sure all of your child's dietary needs are met.
