FAMILY PROGRAMMING
Zimriyah
Parents are invited to this musical extravaganza, which is held on a weekday evening during the first month of camp. You'll love singing your edah songs in the spotlight with your friends and counselors!

Festivale
You'll have a blast dancing in this performing arts festival, held during camp hours during the second month of camp.

CAMPER PROGRAMMING
Pre-July 4 Celebration
You'll enjoy a special afternoon of entertainment at this annual event celebrating America's Independence Day.

Sports Clinics
Participate in some or all of three optional sports clinics in basketball, softball and soccer! These are offered free of charge to children who are interested in further developing their skills through intensive instruction and coaching provided by camp sports instructors and outside sports professionals.

Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam Projects
Whether it's raising money by participating in a swim-a-thon, packing food at an area food bank or performing mitzvot around camp, you'll feel good about taking part in activities that promote Jewish values.

Weekly Ongei Shabbat
Every Friday to end the camp day, our Ongei Shabbat are the perfect way to begin the Sabbath. Together with your entire edah, you'll sing beautiful Shabbat melodies and see a new and special performing arts presentation weekly.

Maccabiah
You'll become an honorary citizen of another country for Maccabiah, where the spirit of international cooperation can be felt throughout the day in good-natured competition in sports, trivia and ruach (spirit).

Yom Yisrael

Planned by our mishlachat (staff from Israel), this day magically transforms Ramah Nyack into Eretz Yisrael. In a full day of Israel-themed activities, you'll experience Israel's culture, history and geography.

Carnivale
At this cultural arts festival, you'll enjoy carnival food and games, along with creative crafts and music activities planned by Ramah's talented team of specialists.

Yomei M'yuchad ('theme' days)
Several times throughout the camp season, your counselors will plan special days that incorporate Jewish values and creative theme-related activities (e.g., Yom Kosher Candyland, Yom Mitachat Layam 'Under the Sea').

Undernights
If you're entering kindergarten through 3rd grade, you'll go on a fun out-of-camp trip with your edah, then come back to camp for a late afternoon swim, surprise early evening activities, and dinner with your friends before heading home on your regular bus or carpool.

Overnights
If you're entering 4th or 5th grade, your edah's day trip will continue with an overnight stay at Ramah, complete with movies, a special Rocky Teva Toast breakfast, and lots of fun! If you're entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grades, you'll have a one-or two-night overnight at a specially chosen destination outside of camp!
